Synopsis

THE HEDGEHOG is a semi fictional documentary by Yann les Jours, with his family and their garden.

Maurice les Jours is 91 years old. Him and his wife Yolande built their house on a piece of land, together with Maurice’ six brothers. So did the three generations that followed them on that exact same field. On this piece of land people love raspberries and nobody has died in decades, many decades, except one person.

In the heart of this family territory, there is a big garden. In this garden Maurice discovers what he believes to be, at first sight, a hedgehog.
This furry something will record for some days and nights everything that happens there, in this garden, where raspberries possibly give eternal life and the voice of the dead one still tries to gather the whole family for a group portrait.
